They want to recruit the Bribri because maybe they have money.
Seriously though, 850 million visits in 2 years- how does that compare to good websites in a comparable period? Also, downloads is no biggie. One jw can make several downloads per week.

bucket shop bill has a thread in which they are "counseled" for something, that ends up not even being true.
instead of the elder who made the accusation apologizing to them, they are made to feel like they should appreciate his overexuberence.. it struck me that this is a common tactic.
here is a story of my own.
As a mere "sister" I never could do that. Damn.
I saw him speak in Sydney in 2003. It took him a while to even figure out he had a camera trained on him which showed him on a big screen. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
i was driving our car going to our assigned territory for our sunday field minsitry (was with jw 2 sisters) when i saw a disfellowshipped jw riding his motorcycle heading towards us.
the guy was df'd around 2 months ago only (won't delve much on his case).
approximately about 10 meters, we saw him smile.
Df sister, a recent former house mate, appear on my door step in her swimmers all cold and distressed because she has just tried to drown herself in her pool. What would have been the proper jw response? Whatever it is, I brought her in and by helped her. I was 24, trying to deal with a suicide attempt. I didn't know what to do so I just let her talk and tried to comfort her. What else can you do? A fellow human creature is hurting. Likewise I would say hi or smile at a df person if it was someone I knew.

i believe in god.
i don't believe he punishes or rewards people.
so by the same extention i don't believe any spirit beings can communicate with or influence humans.. many who do not believe in god though, have gone to fortune tellers.
I don't believe there are evil spirits. I think people invented them to explain the unknown such as why bad things happen and mental illness. You will find African communities who still believe in and fear bad spirits because they have no education.
first article to appear in the newspaper on sept. 5, 2012:.

I bet the jws who know her or are her friends will be puking.
i used to be very impressed with convention experiences regarding how worldly employers would hire jws because they were known as the most honest workers.
i was too indoctrinated to realise these were selective experiences, and there are plenty of experiences of jws being dishonest in the workforce.
i have received a couple recently by email.. i have cut quite a bit out of the following email i received so that the person and company cannot be indentified, but you will get the message.. .
A lot of jw employees are good, but it seems to be the pioneers who have this sense of entitlement and take advantage.
i've never been called for jury duty and i'm not yet registered to vote, although i'm hoping to get that done this month.
i know someone who within a few months of registering to vote was called for jury duty.
i've read some articles that said voter records 'used' to be used to call on people but that was a thing of the past.
Where I live they pick you after you register to vote, which is compulsory when you turn 18. I I was called twice for jury duty when I was a jw.
i've been working on a side project for a while.
the goal of the project is to create a comprehensive database of all publications throughout history.
with this database i will be able to instantly find trends in text, sentiment of writing, methods used, and scriptures emphasized.. essentially i will be able to put a word like "apostate" into my tool, and instantly receive a report showing every time the word (or similar words) has been used in all publications since 1870.. i will also be able to create reports showing word density used in publications over time.. so i'll be able to see that the word "governing body" has increased in usage 25% year over year since 1975.. or i will be able to analyze the november 2014 wt and run an algorithm that helps to determine, what the tone and motive of the writing is.. the thing that i am most excited about is the ability to instantly find every occurence of a scripture in every publication.. this will be a great tool to find flip flops in doctrine as well as inaccuracies in biblical interpretation.. i will for sure publish all interesting findings here.. .
Cool, u should make your database thing into a website. Also, I noticed in those old magazines you posted they don't use Jehovah. They are always saying "the Lord". Guess they got new light on what god wants to be called under Rutherford eh?
